With a background in nonprofit administration, event planning, and digital strategy, Cristina combines technical expertise with a deep understanding of land trust operations and fundraising. She holds a B.A. in Mass Communication from the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga and a Master’s in Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School.

Cristina Hayden is a communications and outreach professional with over a decade of experience supporting land trusts and conservation organizations. She worked closely with land trusts across the state during her tenure at the Connecticut Land Conservation Council, managing website content, leading outreach efforts, and developing strategic communications to strengthen engagement and donor support.
Cristina played a key role in planning and executing large-scale events that bring together land trusts, conservation professionals, and community stakeholders.
