It is one thing to be a county blessed with a wealth of natural resources; it is another to actively engage in sharing that unspoiled natural bounty with others. Folks in Pike County have done just that, rolling out a “Welcome Mat” that will be very hard to ignore.
It has been just about two months since “Pike Outdoors: A Public Lands Guide for Sportsmen & Outdoor Enthusiasts” first rolled off the press. Response so far has been overwhelming to the colorful, outdoors-oriented collection of where-to-go, what-to-do information for the angler, hunter and hiker. < read more >

Town of Highland, NY presents Business Wayfinding Project
As a way of tackling the ever-growing question how do we“drive” traffic to our businesses, the Town hired Dorene Warner of W Design to develop a signage system that would aid both the visitor and local businesses without adding visual clutter to our pristine scenic byways. Highland Renaissance president Carol Roig said, “Dorene has come up with a design that is functional and elegant, is in keeping with the other design work that W Design has created which respects the rural and historical character of the town.”
